Prices for wedding photography

My pricing will reflect peak and off-peak times. Therefore, please use this as a guide as a midweek winter wedding is in lower demand than a summer Saturday. That is why it is always a good idea to have a chat on the phone to see what we can work out for you.

What you may end up buying will also have a bearing on my quote, which can range from as little as £750 for a digital-only package to over £2,000 for a beautiful wedding book with parents’ copies and a USB stick.

The wedding industry will offer as a guide on how much to spend on your photography, somewhere around 15% of your total wedding budget, which, when you come to think of it, is not too big of a price to pay for the only thing that you will have to look back on after all of the celebrations have finished.

In my view, some wedding photographers price themselves out of the market by overcomplicating how to arrive at a reasonable wedding photographer’s price for a professional day’s work. Some wedding photographers’ prices are not too dissimilar to a low-cost flight, with the published wedding photographers’ prices not ending up anywhere what the unsuspecting couple thought that they might be paying when they booked the photographer. Charging extra for pre-ceremony shots, a bit more to photograph the first dance, and so on. Usually dressed up into something like a bronze, silver, or gold package! Come on! Who would want to tell your partner, ” I have booked the bronze package!

OK, everyone is on a budget; even the Victoria and David Beckham Wedding would have had one. So I believe that if I can work within your budget and work out a reasonable wedding photographer’s price, I will, as there is something for everyone, from hundreds of pounds to thousands. It all comes down to what you are looking for.

Not only that, I will do my best to work with you to get the most out of your wedding budget, not everything has to be ordered at once, parent books could come later or you could put wedding photography on your gift list.

I base my charges on the finished product with NO EXTRAS, So if you want a 50-page GraphiStudio book (and who wouldn’t) and you live in my home county of Derbyshire, then that’s what you pay for, and that includes me, my materials and my second wedding photographer, for as long as it takes to meet your brief, end of.

Let me know what you have in mind, and we can meet up and look at the different options. All images are posted on your own online gallery  see client area on this website.

When you book me for your wedding, please take advantage of my free engagement shoot.

It is a great way to get to know your wedding photographer and to try out different styles of photography that you might use on your big day. Please get in touch to talk about the options. I will give you your own online gallery plus all of the images shot on the engagement shoot plus three 10 x 8 inch prints of your choice.
